DAY 9 Of THE GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING AND EVANGELISM WITH DOC TURK AND HIS GHANA TOGO MISSION TEAM FROM TEXAS, USA

When we finished the Entry Field for 2 days at Dapaong, God expanded the kingdom with 243 souls in the strategic location bordering 3 countries. These new congregations worshipped for the first time on Sunday, February 13, 2022, and God added 48 more to their number, making it 291. Paul Laar (Garu) and Joseph Molsak (Bawku) are 4 Fields Discipleship Trainers from Ghana who helped to organize these new congregations, with the help of Brother Jonathan and a couple of others from Togo. See how beautifully brethren can team up to work for the Master from different countries. Brother Jonathan and the other preachers from Togo are yet to be trained in the 4 Fields Discipleship in French next week. Though they participated in the training at Bawku in January, the language didn’t help much.

We have 12 new congregations with 291 new believers at Dapaong right now by the grace of God. Training them to be disciples who make other disciples is what we’re going to do very soon. So don’t be surprised to see multiplication of disciples and congregations at Dapaong. Please pray for us!

We started the work in the Lome area (Manémakou) to strengthen the churches we started last year. While we were down south at the Lome area, another team was up north at Tchamba, doing the same strengthening. God expanded the kingdom with 213 souls that constituted 7 congregations with this effort.

The entire team has been in the Guerin Kouka area from Saturday to Monday (Days 7-9). The purpose has been to strengthen these churches that started last year June after our massive evangelism.

Guess what? God has expanded His kingdom here at Guerin Kouka with 827 souls and a 10s of new congregations within these 3 days. The Total Baptisms on this trip at the moment is 1,331 by the grace of God. Hallelujah! Our God is so amazing!

What makes this awesome is that, after baptizing these new believers, a team follows them up immediately to train them to be disciples who make other disciples. That’s why we’re so confident the work is going to be sustained and even expanded. Do pray with us for strength and more resources of any kind.

All these have not been without challenges though. The serious one being Sister Patsy Turk, the wife of our Team leader, Doc Turk. She was severely ill and was admitted at the hospital. This slowed us down a bit, but the fervent prayer of the saints availed much. God has healed her and we’re all happy that we serve a prayer answering God. The devil has always been a liar!

Another major challenge is the lack of water. We had to travel miles in search of water in almost all the communities we worked. Not allowing the Ghana Gospel chariot truck to cross the border to work with us here in Togo was a big blow. But once again, God has made a way to save these many souls for the kingdom.

With lots of joy in our hearts this morning, we’re heading down south for few other activities before the American Team flies back to the States.

Do continue to pray for us please. Because for some of us - the 4 Fields Discipleship Trainers, the work has only began. There’s going be frequent travels and trainings around this area, whilst we meet other training demands elsewhere.
