GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING

IT’S POSSIBLE TO KILL TO BIRDS WITH A SINGLE STONE
With two mission objectives in mind, we first travelled to Bongo, in the Upper East Region of Ghana and close to Burkina Faso border, a distance of over 800km from Accra.
Brother Fred Asare, the Director of Village of Hope (VOH) needed us to assist the Bongo Orphanage on an issue, and we also needed to meet and encourage disciples who spoke the same native language to cross the border and make disciples who make other disciples in that country as part of our 2023 Goals. The VOH therefore assisted us financially to make this trip.
Having been able to tackle the issue with the Orphanage and also, encouraged nearby preachers to enter Burkina Faso , we worship with them on Sunday before setting off to the Bono Region. We know we have to intensify Training in the area during our visit to the Region in June, 2023.
We traveled southwest to Drobo in the Bono Region of Ghana, a distance of over 600 km.
In Drobo, we organized the churches in the Jaman North and South districts. There were about 30 Preachers and Leaders from 7 congregations who attended and got trained in the 4 Fields Discipleship and Church Multiplication Training.
The trainers were, Charles Odoi, Solomon Mireku and Paul Ntem-Maanoh. The training started on Monday and ended on Wednesday. "I am super excited"
(Osita Onuora). Brother Amos Asuma-Karikari is one of the new Trainers in Accra. He organized his hometown for them to benefit from these amazing Tools and the people were full of appreciation to God and to him for bringing the Team there. In order to mentor some Trainers on the way, we invited Brothers Emmanuel Hooper (Hwediem) and Ebenezer Anane (Kenyasi). These are our L3 Trainers in the area, and they traveled over 100km to join us train as they also used that to sharpen their Tools.
After taking them through the introduction, God's Big Vision and the Brutal Facts, the mood of the trainees changed after realizing the lostness of the inhabitants in their locality. They however became so excited after the simple tools for evangelism were presented.
At the end of the 3 days training, the Preachers promised to go back to their congregations and immediately start training the members. Before we got home, one of them had already used the Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles to baptize some.
The trainers have since arrived safely in Accra to their families by the grace of God.
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the kingdom through the collective efforts of the 4 fields Discipleship and Church Multiplication across the globe !
