KENYAN 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING
KENYAN 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING
Amen, Duncan Ojiambo reported the following
On Sunday October 24th was the last day for the 5days of reviving Simotweet church of christ and equipping Primary School children at Milton Simotweet children center ( Primary school) with 4 Fields Multiplication Disciple Making tools. This school is being supported by CRF, they are doing an amazing job in the mountains. We were having two services one in the morning with the staff and children of Milton Simotweet, and the other with the community in the afternoon/evening hours.
Our last day was amazing. We had 43 fresh souls added to the flock, and baptism was done this morning. As Godfrey, Alex and preacher Titus were taking those who accepted christ Jesus for baptism in the river, Simon Maanda (GCM-UGANDA crew member) remained behind to teach the kids and the teachers of Milton Simotweet children center the relational map and the three circles. He trained over 500 people. After, He led the first service with the teachers and the children. However, it is so amazing how the children and staff captured the two tools they learnt this morning. We ask you to continue praying for these people so that God can use them to carry on the gospel. Lastly we had the community service and brother Tittus Wafula led it. From here we will be heading to kapsokwony district on mt Elgon kenya for a week. Please pray for us as we penatrate the mountains with the gospel. The roads are too steep and impassable when it rains.
We also had a good time of reunion of the African Christian College alumni. Simon, Alex, Duncan, Cheptot and Joan enjoyed sharing memories of their time at college in Eswatin. We are such a great team that can make things happen for Christ if we can unite and accept Unity in Diversity.
We arrived at Kapsokwony Town yesterday, and our person of peace in the area had already made arrangements with the town leadership to allow us pitch a tent in the market area so the gospel could be preached and the word taught to many. Duncan left yesterday after the tent had been pitched and people had started gathering to listen to the true teaching of the gospel of salvation.
Blessings
Duncan
Amen Duncan. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
