KENYA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION WEEKLY UPDATE: GCM KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP & KALOBEYEI REFUGEE SETTLEMENT

Dear all,

We glorify our heavenly father, God, for offering us the opportunity to share the gospel with different nations and neighboring regions. The Lord God is standing with us and empowering us for his ministry, even though our lives are still hard in the refugee camps.

The Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Refugee Settlement conducted the following twenty-eight main activities between February 26, 2026, and March 3, 2024: fifteen worship services and seven 4Fields discipleship multiplication training sessions (four online and one face-to-face). During our online sessions, we connected with our brothers and sisters from Germany, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, and Kenya, outside of both Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Refugee Settlement.

Furthermore, we also conducted five fellowship services, four children's classes, three prayer services, one leaders' meeting, one child feeding session, one baptism service, and one gathering with new brothers and sisters in Christ. We baptized 81 new Christians who received the gospel from our fifteen congregations in both Kakuma and Kalobeyei. Because of a lack of water and a pool in Kakuma and Kalobeyei, we rented a pool from farmers, and we baptized all of them together in one session.

After baptism, we gathered together with new Christians and some brothers and sisters from our Kakuma and Kalobeyei congregations to worship with them, introduce them to other congregations, help them learn from others, and make them feel at home in a big family where they have the right to stay and share with everyone.
