GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TEAMS REPORT
GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TEAMS REPORT
Amen , Brother Charles reported the following:
The 2 weeks Training to end last year and begin this year at Dormaa and Bawku have ended successfully. The Kingdom keeps expanding by God’s grace. All Trainers have since arrived home safely and everyone is doing well now, thanks for your prayers.
Brothers Desire, Philip and Theodore from the Volta arrived in Accra on Saturday, December 24, 2022 and were joined by Solomon and I. With Theodore driving, we set off for the 452Km journey to Dormaa around 12noon for the Training of Teachers of Colleges of Education, who were scheduled to evangelize the Dormaa Municipality.
However, after 10 hours of driving, it was too late and we were so tired when we arrived in Sunyani. We therefore lodged in Sunyani and continued early Sunday morning to worship with the Students and Brethren at Dormaa. We spent the rest of the Sunday afternoon Training the Students in the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Tools, dwelling mostly on the Evangelistic ones.
We continued on Monday morning, allowing them to take turns in practicing the Tools, especially, Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles. We then gave them copies of the Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles cards and prayed with them to go forth to the field while we set off to Bawku.
We were therefore not surprised when their work resulted in 21 Baptisms in 6 days. We surely believe many more Baptisms would follow, and these students will go back to their congregations to be Disciples who make other Disciples for the Master. Praying .
We started the 643km drive from Dormaa to Bawku at about 11:00am. The road was mostly rough, so we arrived in Bolga after 9:00pm and lodged there to pass the night there, since it’s very unsafe to go towards Bawku area at that time of the night due to the civil war. We continued on Tuesday morning to Bawku, and arrived a little over an hour.
After taking a little rest, we started the Class after lunchtime. The Subjects we treated this 2nd Trimester were:
1. The Pastoral Epistles
2. The Book of Romans
3. Ethics in Ministry
4. Ezra Nehemiah Esther
5. The Gospel Accounts
We gave them Ezekiel as a Take Home Assignment while we did the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication with them every evening. We joined the entire class one Thursday evening with the Europe Africa Online Training and they were so excited to participate in the Training.
Out of the 21 Students enrolled, 16 came for the 2nd Trimester. Some of the absentees called to report sick. Efforts are underway to get them find a way to take the courses they have missed while we continue to pray for them. Out of the 21 Students, 6 are non Church of Christ members. They need our fervent prayer as they have started asking the important questions exactly as we expected. Please intensify your prayers on this one.
While in Bawku on the first Sunday of the year, all the Team Members visited and spoke at nearby churches. We did 7 congregations and encouraged 600 Brethren. The Lord blessed our collective efforts with 4 Baptisms on the day.
By far, this Bible College based on the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication model is the greatest collaboration in the churches of Christ. We have the World Bible Institute, Ghana Togo Missions, Thornton Memorial Foundation and the Gospel Share Missions.
The next Trimester, which ends the first year, begins on March 26 and ends on April 8. The subjects to teach would be:
1. Old Testament History
2. Church History 1
3. Youth & Family Ministry
4. Macedonian Epistles
5. The New Testament Church
Of course there would be 3/3s of the 4 Fields Discipleship Training. Also, we’re hoping that an official from the WBI in USA would join us so we organize a Refresher Course on the Saturdays for the Preachers in the area who are so eager to have a Refresher course too. Please keep us in your prayers always.
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the Kingdom through the collective effort of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication across the globe .
Amen Brother Charles and the Team. Wow! This is really a well detailed explicit concise report with wonderful and amazing works Christ is doing in and through you all. Keep it up for Jesus ! Thank You Lord and thank you all involved
