GHANA TOGO MISSION WITH THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING TEAM REPORT

Brother Charles had reported the following:

*”They preached the gospel in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith...” (Acts‬ ‭14:21‬-22, NIV‬‬).

Continuing with the goal of practicing Acts 14:21-25 - encouraging and strengthening the new brethren;

Day 2 (July 4, 2024), saw us still working at the Kpandai area. We had 4 groups leave the hotel very and traveled to meet the brethren at Tayido, Kanjo, Danado and Samantido communities.

Once again, leaders were brought from each congregation in the area and we met them at these 4 points. We took them through a 4 Fields Discipleship tool called 4-1-1. This helps them to understand what God has done for them through Jesus Christ, and WHY they should also bring their Family and Friends to God, WHAT to tell them, using their Story. Excitement filled all these communities as these new believers saw the opportunity to become disciples who make other disciples for the Master - Jesus Christ.

Tayido had about 20 leaders present. Kanjo had about 15 leaders present. Danado had about 18 leaders present. At Samatido, the entire members joined other leaders who were present from other communities. There were some members who also joined, and there was a total of about 90 people present. Three people obeyed the gospel at Samatido and put on Christ in baptism by the grace of God.

When we ended dispersed, I traveled to the river side with Brothers Job and Mark. We had missed the 3:00pm Pantoon and waited for the 7:00pm one. Whiles waiting we encountered a Muslim in a friendly conversation. We shared the Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles with him. To our amazement he said YES to put on Christ in baptism. So Fuseini Kodza has put on Christ in baptism, bringing the baptisms to 4 for the day. As soon as we finished the 4-1-1 with him, he went into the community to tell his sister who also wants to hear the gospel through phone call. We have since connected him via phone with the Ejura church.

At the end of the 2 days Strengthening and Encouragement Campaign, we have encouraged about 180 brethren to use their Relational Map and bring Friends and Family to God. Also, God has blessed our efforts with 6 new baptisms by His grace. Please keep praying for these new disciples for their enthusiasm in the LORD to grow higher and higher.
