GHANA TOGO MISSIONS AND THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING TEAM REPORT

Brother Charles had reported the following:

RIPPLING EFFECT OF THE YEJI CAMPAIGN. THE SEED WE PLANTED HAS BEGAN TO BEAR FRUIT!

*I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.”* (1 Corinthians 3:6‬‬).

A team of disciples traveled from Accra and Dzodze to train and do gospel campaign with the Gospel Chariot team at Yeji and Kpandai in early July, 2024.

We went to greet the Konkomba Chiefs of Yeji and invited them to the gospel campaign with the truck and the inauguration of the church building that happened on the first Sunday. There were many people we visited during the House-to-House Evangelism session. While 10 gave their lives to Christ in baptism at Yeji and 7 at Prang over the period, others promised to do it later. In his follow up effort, Brother James Jijir, the preacher for Yeji has by the grace of God, reported that 5 more people gave their lives to Christ yesterday in the morning. As they visited the Chiefs in the evening, there were 3 more baptisms. In all, there have been 25 known baptisms directly linked to this trip.

Another joyful news is that, the idea shared with the Boamah family concerning Sword Method small group study was implemented by them when they returned to their Ghana home in Kumasi. The Wife, Sister Animah-Sika Boamah took this seriously and shared Christ with tenants in their house and neighbors. In only 2 days and with the support of her husband, 10 souls from 2 different families have been won for Christ. It’s sad they will not stay in Ghana to start a small church group with them and continue meeting to expand to other families. They have since been integrated to the large congregation in the community.

Kindly pray for them and especially the Boamah family as they try this in New York to start similar thing in their community. Who knows that your prayer will help us start the first American Sword Method small group church?
