GHANA TOGO MISSIONS; GHANA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS WITH THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TEAMS REPORT
GHANA TOGO MISSIONS; GHANA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS WITH THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TEAMS REPORT
Amen , Brother Charles had reported the following on Monday:
”When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.””* (John 21:15, NIV).
The most important aspect of our work is the preparation before the Mission and the follow up afterwards. That’s where the real work is. Trying to learn from the compassion Jesus had for the flock, we don’t just go to a community to baptize and leave. We try to care for them by nurturing them in the word to make them disciples of Jesus Christ who make other disciples for Him.
Yesterday was the first time the new congregations we have planted in the Nanumba North district of Ghana, met for the first time without us, but with the nearby preachers and leaders whom we trained ahead of the Mission trip.
Report reaching us from Brother Alex Jabado, the preacher for Kpassa, and his able team on the ground indicates the following:
1. There were 29 out of the 30 new congregations in the area (2 communities merged to worship together) who met to worship in their local communities with a total Attendance of 2,353
2. There were 112 baptisms during their worship yesterday.
3. The 3 nights of preaching by the Team on the Gospel Chariot truck has resulted in 24 baptisms.
4. We are yet to hear from Brother Joseph and the 6 new congregations at Tatale.
A total of 136 Baptisms have been recorded from Friday to Sunday by the grace of God.
You can imagine what the church would have been like if we were trained right after baptism to be disciples who make other disciples for Jesus Christ!
It’s not too late to start!
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the Kingdom through the collective effort of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication across the globe .
Amen the Ghana - Togo Missions Team. Wow! Praise God for the 136 new souls won to Christ and added to the church. This is absolutely great and exciting, keep it up Brethren being on fire for Jesus and spreading across your regions like wildfire. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
