GOSPEL CHARIOT-SHARE MISSIONS AT THE 26TH NATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE IN KALOMO ZAMBIA ENDED WITH 55 BAPTISMS AND 76 RESTORATIONS.
Amen , Brother Walter reported the following:
Zambia for Jesus
It was clear when we made Easter holiday plans that Clever and I would go to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, for the Southern Africa International Lectureship. Teddy had been invited to the Zambia National Youth Conference in Kalomo, where he was due to speak. The Nampongo Annual General Conference was the other conference for which we required representation. Due to the above-mentioned, I requested Clever to represent us and to accompany the Gospel Chariot truck to Nampongo General Conference. Sadly, there was a bereavement at Clever's workplace and was asked to accompany mourners to Eastern Province. This prompted me to adjust again. This time, I asked Joe to represent us. Joe is one of the key leaders of the Nampongo Annual General Conference, he is also my Timothy from the Kazungula Church of Christ.
By the grace of God, Teddy attended both the National Youth Conference and Nampongo Annual General Conference. At the youth conference, he was the first speaker and at Nampongo Annual General Conference he was one of the speakers too.
Teddy reported the following;
The just-ended 26th National Youth Conference was a success. It was held in Kalomo at Kalomo Secondary School from 7th – 9th April 2023. The theme for this year's conference was “Zealous Youth - rooted and built up in Christ” drawn from John 2:17.
The National Youth Conference drew 2,535 youths from 106 churches from 8 provinces. 55 were baptized, 76 were restored, and 11 needed prayers and were prayed for.
For 3 days, speakers from different parts of the country spoke to the youths, had classes and group discussions, met old friends and made new friends, and sang several hymns and choruses. This conference created a lot of opportunities for connecting across the country.
The next conference will be held in Solwezi next year (2024), then in Kabwe in 2025.
Thank you for your prayers and for inspiring us to make disciples who make disciples. The harvest is plenty but the laborers are few.
May the Good Lord bless you all as you work in his vineyard.
Walter.
Amen Brother Walter and Teddy. This is great and exciting, Keep it up connecting to such conferences one day to have an opportunity to train with the 4 Fields Discipleship Tools. Praise God for the new souls added to the Church. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
