NIGERIA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING REPORT FOR IKEJA, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA.

Amen , Brother Osita reported the following:

I am super excited to send the report of the just concluded 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Training held in the Church of Christ, 6A Pepple Street, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. I had the great privilege of training alongside Emonena Josiah, Timothy Iwe and Elijah Abire.

The host congregation arranged the training to coincide with their 3 days evangelism program. The lowest attendance at the training was 60 while the highest was 125.

To make the participants appreciate the need to make disciples that make disciples that multiply, we showed them the level of lostness in Lagos State with the "brutalization" of the Brutal Facts.

With the current pace and method(s) of evangelism, it will take 6,300 years to get to 1,000,000 which is still not up to 10% of the population of Lagos State.

The brethren were indeed saddened and startled by this statistics and vowed to deploy the 4 Fields Tools to correct the status quo.

Furthermore, we drew the participants' attention to the fact that our evangelism hitherto, had focused on finding a "person of war" instead of a "Person of Peace." We look for people to argue with during our evangelism instead of people to preach the good news to. Consequently, we encouraged the participants to go out and search for persons of peace. Once more, we have ignited the fire and we have drawn the attention of the participants to the fact that they must be INTENTIONAL in being, and making disciples that make disciples that multiply. Hallelujah!
