Reported by Brother Opondo Tom.

The Gospel Chariot Missions Kenya team is excited to report on the first chariot mission of 2025, conducted in partnership with the Christian students from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University. This mission marks the beginning of another year of spreading the Gospel, making disciples, and strengthening the body of Christ. Chabera, located in Homa Bay County, was chosen as the focal point for this impactful week.

Mission Activities:

1. Disciple Multiplication Training Sessions:

- The week began with a series of interactive training sessions aimed at equipping participants with the 4 Fields Disciple Making tools.

- Over 70 university students participated in learning how to share the Gospel effectively, nurture new believers, and develop disciple-making strategies.

2. House-to-House Evangelism:

- Teams of missionaries, local believers, and university students went from home to home, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

- Many people opened their homes and hearts, with several making commitments to follow Christ.

3. Prayers for the Sick and the Mission:

- The team dedicated time to pray for the sick and those facing challenges in the Chabera community.

- Testimonies of healing and renewed faith were shared, showcasing God’s power and love.

4. Open-Air Meetings:

- Vibrant open-air meetings were held each evening, featuring passionate preaching, worship, and testimonies.

- These gatherings draw large crowds, including many who had not previously heard the Gospel.

5. Boosting Local Churches:

- The mission works closely with local churches in Chabera to strengthen their ministries.

- Members are encouraged and empowered to continue evangelism and discipleship beyond the mission week.

Partnership Highlight:

The partnership with Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University Christian students is invaluable. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and youthful energy played a significant role in the success of the mission. They not only participated in all activities but also took leadership roles, setting a strong example of Christ-centered service.

Impact and Testimonies:

- Salvations: Several individuals accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.

- Healing: Some testified of physical and spiritual healing after prayers.

- Church Growth: Local churches reported increased attendance and renewed zeal among their members.

The Gospel Chariot Mission at Chabera has been a transformative experience for all involved. As the mission concludes on January 26, we give glory to God for His guidance and provision throughout the week. We also express deep gratitude to the Christian students from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University for their partnership and to the local churches in Chabera for their unwavering support.

Prayer Needs:

• Pray for those who gave their lives to Christ, that they may grow in their faith.

• Pray for the local churches to sustain the momentum of evangelism and discipleship.

• Pray for the Gospel Chariot Missions team as they prepare for upcoming missions in 2025.
