UGANDA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT VOCADAM PRE- ELEMENTARY & PRIMARY SCHOOL BY NKEM ENDED WITH ONE BAPTISM
Amen , Brother Duncan reported the following:
Missionary Nkem Okpe has reported the following from Kasanda- Central Uganda.
I have spent the last 5 days July 16th -20th in Kiganda, Kasanda at VOCADAM Pre Elementary& Primary School training the teachers and selected pupils in 4Fields Discipleship and Church Multiplication.
On Sunday during our mutual time, a learner asked questions on baptism. I answered his questions by referring him to various Bible verses on baptism which he read and was convinced that he needed to be baptized to be saved. Consequently, he confessed Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Immediately I moved 10 kilometres with him in company of our host, brother Kisakye Hosea Samuel, to where there is much water and I baptized him. He told us 2 days after that he has been feeling joy inside him since he was baptized. This new Ambassador of Christ, by name Kenneth Abitekaniza has invited me to his village, Kitooka in Masindi to set up a Bible study group in his home. He is a building technician building class rooms for brother Kisakye.
On Monday and Tuesday July 16th and 17th I trained the participants on God's Big Vision. The learners were able to identify who God used and how far they were used beginning from Genesis to Revelation. The participants also learnt Jesus's Story in 3 Circles. Each of the participants showed that they have learned and understood the tools as evidenced by their practical demonstrations of each of the tools taught.
On Tuesday and Wednesday(17th & 18th) evenings, I visited a person of peace on brother Kisakye's relational map at her home. I taught her Jesus's Story in 3 Circles and Baptism Hammer. She asked many questions about baptism and I led her mind through various Bible passages that gave answers to all her questions. Thereafter, she confessed that the immersion she did in a denominational church is not the baptism commanded by Jesus Christ and promised to be baptized soon. Going by her promise, I showed her, from the scriptures, the danger of procrastination on this matter of salvation. Please let us pray that God opens her mind to obey the gospel.
Brother Kisakye and I visited another person of peace on his relational map. This person had gone for burial when we arrived his home, so we could study with him. I spent the first 2 hours on Thursday morning (20th July) answering the many questions the participants asked. I made them read various Bible verses in answer to all their questions. They were convicted. Their obedience to the gospel is being awaited. Please let us keep praying for them. The remaining part of Thursday morning and afternoon, the learners answered the 4 Questions in 1 piece of paper in 1 hour. This prompted them to mention the persons in their relational map they will first reach out to with the gospel.
Thereafter, I was reminded of the invitation to come over to Kitooka, in Masindi by brother Kenneth who I baptized on Sunday July 16, 2023 to set up a Bible study group in his home. With that invitation, and having come to the end of the training we said our closing prayer. I left Kiganda, Kasanda for Kampala by 4.30pm. Please I request for much prayers to God that He gives increase to the work done so far.
Amen Brother Nkem Okpe. This is absolutely great and exciting keep it up being on fire for Jesus. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
