UGANDA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING WITH FOCUS ON SWORD METHOD DISCOVERY BIBLE STUDY AT NANGALA C.o.C ENDED WITH 6 BAPTISMS

Brother Duncan had reported the following:

Yesterday Geoffrey and Duncan had a great discipleship, evangelism and church planting follow up training in Kaliro District, Nawaikoke constituency.

We mobilized our four Baby Churches to gather in one congregation for a training focused on how to conduct Sword Method Discovery Bible study, how to share the gospel with those in your Relatonal Map and how to start small groups in communities.

Brother Geoffrey facilitated and modeled Sword Method from John 1. It was an exciting time of discovering what God says to us through His word the Bible. Participants were able to see how powerful and simple this method of Bible study is. Everyone left the gathering with a story to tell from the gospel of John chapter 1.

Duncan focused on how to identify the empty fields- those far from God. Begin with those related to you but are far from God. Relational Map was yet another eye opener and a challenge to many in the gathering. I let everyone through the process of identifying their friends, family and relatives who are far from God.

Door- Door evangelism - we also took the group out into the village for 4 Fields outreach or evangelism. This was intended to practically apply what we had taught and learned in class. It was another wonderful experience for the believers. To some, it was their first time experience. They were able to learn how to approach the prospect and how to share the gospel truth with them respectfully and lovingly.

In my group, I had three people, little did I know that one of them who was very helpful in reading the Bible in local language for me as I taught had not obeyed the gospel. When he had this opportunity to listen and read the texts on baptism and salvation. He realized that he was missing something in his life. Paul joined the group that had accepted Christ through baptism. We baptized him together with other five believers.

Amen and praise God brother Duncan and the team for the continuous wonderful and amazing work you are all doing for the Lord, keep it up for Jesus . Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
