Nakur Church of Christ Evangelism/ outreach Report
_Date: 9th - 11th February 2025_
We arrived at Nakur on 9th February 2025 and spent three days engaging in evangelism and outreach activities. Our team was warmly welcomed by the local community and brethren of this congregation.
_Evangelism Activities_
During our stay, we conducted the following activities:
1. _Door-to-Door Evangelism_: We went from house to house sharing the Gospel and inviting people to attend our open-air outreach event.
2. _Open-Air Outreach_: We held a large-scale evangelism event, which drew an attendance of over 1,000 people especially in the evenings and through night gospel meetings.
3. _Sword Method Discovery Bible Study_: We taught the Sword Method Discovery Bible Study, focusing on John 3:1-5 and other texts.
_Results_
The outreach efforts yielded remarkable results:
1. _Baptisms_: One hundred and thirty-four (134) people gave their lives to Christ and were baptized.
2._Emotional Response_: After watching a movie depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the entire audience was deeply moved, with many people crying uncontrollably.
We give thanks to God for His mercy and power.
_Healing and Restoration_
We also witnessed healing and restoration in the lives of those who were struggling. The Bible school teachings and evangelism efforts have helped to equip believers with spiritual knowledge and empowerment.
_Testimonies_
Some of the testimonies shared during the evangelism and worship event included:
- Healing from physical and emotional afflictions
- Spiritual growth and empowerment
_Conclusion_
Our time in Nakuri Church of Christ was marked by the evident move of God. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and share the Gospel with this community. We pray that the seeds sown will continue to bear fruit, and the newly baptized believers will grow in their faith.
